Blackcurrant Ojebyn - A variety of Blackcurrant Ribes NigrumVery hardy mid season Blackcurrant. The medium to large greenish fruit has an excellent sweet, aromatic flavour, with a hint of apricot and offers good disease resistance.

Instructions for cultivation.

As soon as you get your store bought Blackcurrant home, plunge it into water for a good soak!

Plant Blackcurrant Ojebyn in full sun or light shade.

Dig a hole deep enough to take the root ball and fertilise the bottom of the hole. Fill in to fully cover the roots and firm down the soil. Water in.

Blackcurrant Ojebyn flowers in April / May.

Fruit available between July and August.

The Blackcurrant Ojebyn plant grows to around 150cm.

Prune in November / December.
