Kew Gardens covers over 300 acres, it's a big space, so a little time planning
will help you see the highlights you want to.
Kew is situated on the south bank of the River Thames near Richmond, about
10 km south-west of London. You are encouraged to visit Kew Gardens via
public transport for environmental reasons, and because it is usually more convenient
as Kew Gardens has limited parking.
Wisley RHS

The flagship garden of the RHS, Wisley, captures the imagination with richly
planted borders, luscious rose gardens and of course, the state-of-the-art new
Glasshouse.
The garden lies between Cobham and Ripley in Surrey, off the main London to
Portsmouth road (A3) south of Junction 10 of the M25. Follow the brown tourist
flower signs on the A3 and M25 to RHS Garden. Car parking is free.
Harlow Carr RHS

Harlow Carr is a garden dominated by water, stone and woodland and is very
much part of the surrounding Yorkshire landscape.
The Garden is situated on Crag Lane, off Otley Road (B6162) about a mile and
a half from the centre of Harrogate. - Car parking is free.
Hyde Hall RHS

Hyde Hall is in an area of Essex that has very low rainfall, and this factor
combined with the soil conditions and exposed nature of the site makes it a challenging
area to garden in.
Hyde Hall is conveniently located just 20 minutes from the centre of Chelmsford.
From the M25:
Junction 28 for the A12 (exit A12 at junction 17); or
Junction 29 for the A127 (exit A127 onto the A132, signposted to Wickford); or
Junction 30 for the A13 (exit A13 onto the A130)
South-east of Chelmsford exit at the A130 and follow the tourist attraction
flower symbols to Rettendon. Head towards East Hanningfield by turning into East
Hanningfield Road at The Bell public house. Turn right into Buckhatch Lane. Car
parking is free
Rosemoor RHS
RHS Garden, Rosemoor,

Set deep in the lovely North Devon countryside, Rosemoor is an enchanting
garden to visit at any time of the year.
Exit the M5 Southbound Exit at Junction 27, and join the A361 link road signposted
Barnstaple / Bideford.
At Barnstaple join A39 signposted Bideford (Atlantic Highway), keep heading
towards Bideford on the A39 until you reach a roundabout signposted to Great
Torrington (B3232). Take this road and follow it into Great Torrington.
RHS Garden
Rosemoor is signposted at Great Torrington and is situated 1 mile south on the
A3124 road which heads towards Exeter. Car parking is free.

ignore your satellite navigation systems and follow the AA road signs and instructions
from the police.
RHS Chelsea Flower Show
Usually held in May - The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is the ultimate event in
the gardening year. It sets the latest gardening trends, features the newest
and most desirable gardening products and creates an explosion of colours and
scents.
We strongly recommend that visitors travel by public transport, as parking
in the area is extremely limited. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is located within
the Transport for London congestion zone.

RHS Hampton Court Palace London Flower Show
Usually held in July - The Hampton Court Flower Show is held in the grounds
of the Hampton Court Palace, London, in July each year. It is organised by the
Royal Horticultural Society

RHS Tatton Park Flower Show
Usually held in July - The RHS took the Society's flower show formula to the
North West of England in 1999, establishing the third largest flower show in
the UK in the rolling parkland of Tatton Park about 16 miles south of Manchester.

Usually held in April - Bute Park is a 15-minute walk from Cardiff Central
Station.

RHS London Flower Shows
Usually held in February -
At the London Flower Shows you can buy plants, enjoy dazzling floral displays
and get expert gardening advice all in the heart of London.

BBC Gardeners World Live
Usually held in June - The Gardeners' World presenters will also be live
on stage sharing their advice and expertise. In addition we have fabulous new
features including a live garden and allotment with interactive demos and practical
hands-on tips.
The NEC is well sign-posted from the M6 (J4), the M42 (J6), the A45, A446 & M1.
- There is ample car parking (£8 payable on the day). Shuttle buses operate
between the car parks and the show.

Harrogate Spring Flower Shows
Usually held in April and September - Two shows are now held each year at
the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, where
you can enjoy the purpose-built event facilities as well as fully ramped and
floored marquees. Over 70% of the show is undercover and most of it is on hard
surfacing, making it particularly suitable for disabled visitors and a grand
day out - whatever the weather.

Southport Flower Show
Usually held in August - Southport Flower Show is one of the most spectacular
and inspirational events for everyone interested in the latest ideas and designs
for homes, gardens and lifestyle. -

and held in 34 beautiful acres of Victoria Park is transformed into a haven for
families wanting a memorable day out.
