Inspiration for Landscape and Garden Design

Public Gardens - Flower & Garden Design Shows - Garden Design & Home Interiors Shows - Popular Garden Design Publications & Magazines

We are all looking for inspiration for what to do within our gardens and besides watching the wealth of TV gardening programmes, maybe we should just get up and go, look at some of the best gardens in the UK and bring that seed of an idea home!

Public Gardens to Visit for Your Garden Design Inspiration:

Kew Gardens

Kew Gardens - Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Richmond, Surrey TW9 3ABRoyal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Richmond, Surrey TW9 3AB - MAP - Website

Kew Gardens covers over 300 acres, it's a big space, so a little time planning will help you see the highlights you want to.

Kew is situated on the south bank of the River Thames near Richmond, about 10 km south-west of London. You are encouraged to visit Kew Gardens via public transport for environmental reasons, and because it is usually more convenient as Kew Gardens has limited parking.

Hyde Hall is conveniently located just 20 minutes from the centre of Chelmsford. From the M25:
Junction 28 for the A12 (exit A12 at junction 17); or Junction 29 for the A127 (exit A127 onto the A132, signposted to Wickford); or Junction 30 for the A13 (exit A13 onto the A130)

South-east of Chelmsford exit at the A130 and follow the tourist attraction flower symbols to Rettendon. Head towards East Hanningfield by turning into East Hanningfield Road at The Bell public house. Turn right into Buckhatch Lane. Car parking is free
