Tatton Park RHS Flower Show 2009 / 2010
The Next RHS Show at Tatton Park is 22–26 July 2009
The RHS took the Society's flower show formula to the North West of England in 1999, establishing the third largest flower show in the UK in the rolling parkland of Tatton Park about 16 miles south of Manchester. The result has proven to be a stupendous success, a classic RHS show that combines the very best in horticultural standards - incorporating a spectacular floral marquee - with a remarkable atmosphere of freshness and originality.
Tatton Park RHS Flower Show is held at the National Trust (NT) Property at Tatton Park, Knutsford, Cheshire WA16 6QN - MAP

Tatton Park is an award-winning historic country estate with a neo-classical mansion set in about 20 hectares; 50 acres of gardens with an adjoining working farm, set in 400 hectares; 1,000-acres and deer park.In 1598 the estate was bought by Sir Thomas Egerton, Lord Chancellor of England. Sir Thomas and his children rarely visited the estate and it was loaned to tenants.
Tatton Park is financed, administered and maintained by Cheshire County Council. Without this commitment the Nastional Trust would not have been able to acquire this historic property.
National Trust Members have free admission to the house and gardens only, except during special events, and half-price entry to the farm. Members must pay car entry charges, and full admission to any special events, such as the RHS Flower Show, usually staged in July each year.
The Tatton Park RHS Flower Show Show Gardens - There are usually twenty or so show gardens at Tatton Park with design and construction budgets typically ranging from £30,000 to over £70,000 together with around 26 to 30 Back-to-Back Gardens. These are small gardens and in this category professional designers, colleges, amateurs or clubs and Societies can submit applications. The typical budget for these gardens ranges from £7,500 to over £15,000.
At the time of writing (Oct 2008) there was no financial charge for the space your garden or feature occupies. Enabling 100% of your funding to be invested in the creation of the display that promotes your organisation.
